2 arrested in Monroe County drug investigation; medication, weapons seized in raid

TUNKHANNOCK TWP., Pa. – Two males have been arrested after a drug raid in Monroe County Thursday.

Michael Boomer, 61 and Justin Hardy, 22 each of Tunkhannock Township, are at the moment being held on the Monroe County Correctional Facility pending arraignment, based on a information launch from the Monroe County District Legal professional’s Workplace.

The investigation started in March of 2021 when investigators realized that Boomer was promoting cocaine out of his residence in Tunkhannock Township, the DA’s workplace mentioned. The DA’s workplace says each Boomer and Hardy are convicted felons, prohibited from possessing firearms.
