Allentown Faculty District, academics union attain 3-year deal

The Allentown Faculty District and its academics union have agreed to a three-year-contract.

That is based on an announcement issued by the college district Thursday evening.

The district says the take care of the Allentown Schooling Affiliation consists of “aggressive wage raises” with a purpose to retain and recruit workers.

The contract will increase the beginning wage for brand new academics to only over $52,000 by this December.

The brand new contract will likely be retroactive to 2021.
