Allentown police reminding residents to lock automobile doorways at evening

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown police are reminding residents to lock their automobile doorways each evening.

Police are asking residents to make a 9 p.m. routine. Take away and safe valuables, lock doorways, and switch some lights on if attainable.

Based on the FBI, auto thefts are up in recent times. A lot of these thefts are of unlocked automobiles, or vehicles with the keys left in them.
