Berks vets discuss, help each other on Vietnam Battle Veterans Day

READING, Pa. – ‘Welcome house.’ These are two phrases that may imply the world to a Vietnam veteran.

 

March twenty ninth is Nationwide Vietnam Battle Veterans Day. The army vacation was first proclaimed in 2012 and was signed into regulation in 2017. Native veterans, together with some who fought in Vietnam, gathered on the Vietnam Memorial in Studying’s Metropolis Park, merely, to speak, give thanks and unfold love.

Billy Worrell of Douglassville was a Navy machinist mate in Vietnam.
