Bridge challenge on I-78 about to make issues noisier for Hamburg

HAMBURG, Pa. – Demolition of a part of a bridge on I-78 goes to make issues louder and a bit extra sophisticated in Hamburg.

PennDOT is rehabbing and increasing the bridge close to the Route 61 interchange on I-78, which could have some main development noise echoing via the borough.

“I simply hope it will get performed actually quickly,” stated Hamburg resident Marge Joyce.







It is a $125 million challenge to reconstruct the Route 61 interchange of I-78, shoring up the bridge at that interchange and widening it over Port Clinton Avenue.
