Chester County trainer arrested for sexual assault being sued by sufferer

POTTSTOWN, Pa. – A Chester County trainer who was arrested for sexually assaulting a feminine pupil is now dealing with authorized motion.

The sufferer is suing Stephen Raught, in addition to the Owen J Roberts Faculty District and different administration officers.

The swimsuit alleges the sufferer, who was 17 on the time, was assaulted by Raught again in 2020.

It accuses the district of not correctly investigating earlier claims about alleged earlier inappropriate conduct with different college students.

The swimsuit argues, regardless of these claims, the district did not take any disciplinary motion in opposition to Raught, and in flip enabled him to proceed his conduct.

Raught was sentenced as much as 23 months in jail Friday.
