Chicago UPS driver spreads St. Patrick Day spirit by enjoying bagpipes

A UPS driver in Chicago is spending his free-time spreading the Saint Patrick’s day spirit. Mike O’Donnell is a South Facet bagpiper and has a present for making deliveries.

Mike is aware of what it takes to be a great bagpiper however says it is onerous to seek out the time to apply. So, he makes essentially the most of his work day and performs within the car parking zone throughout his lunch hour.

He says taking that point to apply provides him a 45-minute exercise and he will get to share his music. 

Mike began enjoying the bagpipes at 19-years-old after seeing a bunch pf Irish musicians carry out at his church, St Thomas Moore in Chicago.

Mike is within the “Metropolis of Chicago Pipe Band” and it is a busy time of yr for him. He marched in Chicago’s St. Patrick Day parade this previous Saturday and the South Facet parade.

Mike says he loves the sound of the pipes and that is what retains him going.
