East Stroudsburg man faces legal murder fees after dying of toddler son

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. – An East Stroudsburg man is dealing with fees in reference to a 2021 incident involving the dying of a 3-month-old toddler.

Pennsylvania State Police say Michael Noel Yard, 32, was arrested Friday on fees of legal murder, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a kid.

A state police report says Yard discovered his son unresponsive within the 100 block of Pinewood Drive South in Center Smithfield Township on August 1, 2021. Yard administered CPR and referred to as 911. First responders then transported the toddler to Lehigh Valley HospitalPocono, the place he was later pronounced useless.

An post-mortem indicated the style of dying was a murder, with blunt drive trauma to the pinnacle because the quick trigger.
