Former daycare employee sentenced to jail in intercourse assault case

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. — A former daycare employee accused of inappropriately touching a baby at a daycare heart the place he labored has been sentenced to jail.

Berks County District Lawyer John Adams instructed 69 Information Andrew J. McCollin was sentenced to 34 to 68 years in jail Tuesday.

McCollin,33, of Berkwick, Columbia County was arrested in 2019 after a 4-year-old baby reported being touched inappropriately by a trainer at Inventive Beginnings Early Studying Heart in Bern Township, detectives mentioned.
