Former Roseto councilman pleads responsible to murder in demise of ex-girlfriend's boyfriend

PENN FOREST TWP., Pa. – A person accused of fatally taking pictures his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend in Carbon County has pleaded responsible to a murder cost, in response to court docket paperwork.

John Martocci, of Roseto, had been accused within the taking pictures in Penn Forest Township, state police mentioned. Police mentioned Martocci shot Kenneth Knibiehly, 58, within the head, killing him. Martocci is an ex-boyfriend of Knibiehly’s present girlfriend, police mentioned. 

Martocci beforehand served on the Roseto borough council, officers mentioned.

Investigators mentioned Martocci, a married man, was upset Knibiehly was relationship his former girlfriend and wished her again. The girl informed police she and Knibiehly heard his canines barking loudly earlier than there was a knock on the entrance door. The girl reported listening to arguing and a gunshot.
