READING, Pa. – The Governor Mifflin Faculty District despatched a message to the varsity district neighborhood on Tuesday following a lethal capturing involving a number of college students.
One individual was killed after a capturing in Studying Monday at Brookline Park round 7:45 p.m.
Faculty District Superintendent, William McKay, says he was knowledgeable Tuesday morning that Governor Mifflin college students had been concerned in a capturing.
He says one pupil was fatally shot and one other was admitted to the ICU.
Governor Mifflin Center Faculty and Excessive Faculty had been switched to a digital studying day for Tuesday. The highschool and center faculty are open for grief counseling help.
All after faculty actions for Governor Mifflin secondary college students have been canceled for Tuesday.
“As a district, we wish to let all of our college students know that they’re in our ideas in the present day and that we’re right here for them throughout this extremely troublesome time. Thanks in your understanding, cooperation, and help of our college students,” stated McKay.
Police may nonetheless be seen investigating the capturing at Brookline Park early Tuesday morning.
No arrests have been made in that case.
