Hearth that killed 2 ladies in Hellertown dominated unintentional

HELLERTOWN, Pa. — A home fireplace in Hellertown that sadly took the lives of two younger ladies has been dominated an accident.

Northampton County District Legal professional Terence Houck confirmed Wednesday that the reason for the fireplace that killed Brianna Baer, 15, and Abigail Kaufman, 10, was dominated unintentional.

Crews responded to the two-alarm fireplace on Linden Avenue within the early morning hours on Friday, April 1. Officers mentioned Baer and Kaufman have been trapped on the second ground as the fireplace began.

Firefighters bought the ladies down utilizing ladders. They have been each instantly taken to the hospital the place they died from their accidents.

The reason for loss of life was inhalation of merchandise of combustion and thermal accidents as a result of home fireplace. The coroner dominated the deaths unintentional.
