I-80 reopens after Monday morning crash in Monroe

TUNKHANNOCK TWP., Pa. – A crash closed a part of a freeway within the Poconos for a number of hours Monday morning.

Interstate 80 eastbound was closed round 6:30 a.m. between the Blakeslee (Route 115) and Scranton (I-380) exits in Monroe County.

Preliminary reviews indicated a tractor-trailer was concerned within the wreck.

State police didn’t touch upon what occurred.

I-80 reopened round 9 a.m.
