Jackson Twp. brush hearth rekindles

JACKSON TWP., Pa. – Firefighters spent a part of Saturday battling a brush hearth that rekindled in Monroe County. 







Firefighters returned Saturday to a brush hearth that rekindled in Monroe County. 




A helicopter dropped water on the hearth in 200 block of 5 Springs Rd. in Jackson Township on Friday to maintain it from reaching a house.

At one level on Friday afternoon, six brush fires had been reported in Monroe County, and no less than one different within the Walnutport space of Northampton County.

There have been no stories of accidents.

It’s unknown what number of acres had been burned throughout the hearth.
