Justice Dept. seeks to intervene in Halcovage lawsuit

The U.S. Division of Justice is in search of to hitch a lawsuit filed by 4 feminine staff of Schuylkill County who allege they had been sexually harassed by County Commissioner George Halcovage.

A press release from the DOJ says it is intervening as a result of elected officers who abuse their energy to sexually harass public servants have to be held accountable.

The DOJ argues that Schuylkill County violated the Civil Rights Act when it subjected the 4 girls to sexual harassment by Halcovage.

He has denied any wrongdoing.
