Lehigh County celebrates 1st graduate of drug therapy court docket

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Lehigh County celebrated its first drug therapy court docket graduate Friday.

A ceremony was held Friday afternoon on the county courthouse in Allentown.

Lehigh’s drug court docket was launched again in 2020, although most counties within the state already had one. It gives a 12-to-18-month restoration program for individuals who have a substance use dysfunction.

This system additionally acts as a substitute for being put in jail.
