Man arrested on drug fees

MOUNT PENN, Pa. — A Berks County man is dealing with drug fees after police say he was dealing medication from his residence.

Berks County Detectives mentioned they arrested Matthew McClain, 24, of Mount Penn Friday after a virtually two month lengthy investigation, revealed McClain had allegedly been dealing methamphetamine from his residence.

Berks District Lawyer officers mentioned in a launch Friday detectives started an investigation in late January after receiving data McClain was promoting meth from his residence. On Wednesday, investigators obtained a search warrant for his residence within the 2400 block of Woodvale Avenue.

The Berks County Emergency Reply Staff served the search warrant Friday morning simply after 6 a.m. Officers say McClain was arrested inside with out incident.
