Norberto Dominguez withdraws candidacy for State Rep.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A state Rep. candidate in Allentown has withdrawn his candidacy.

Norberto Dominguez (D), 54, stated on social media he’s withdrawing his candidacy for Pa. State Rep. in Allentown’s twenty second District. Dominguez cited his choice on an error along with his nomination petitions and never having the signatures wanted.

“There are going to be errors made on petitions. Typically individuals overlook to replace their voter registration. Typically they mistake the district they really dwell in for yours,” Dominguez stated. “It occurs. Even with that stated, I am not into excuses. I wasn’t going into politics or out of it with a hogwash of phrase salads. I didn’t have the signatures wanted to outlive a problem. Nor, did I do a radical sufficient job of double checking for errors. That is on me. For that I apologize. It won’t occur once more.”

Dominguez introduced his marketing campaign on March 22.
