HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Payments to ban drop packing containers for depositing mail-in and absentee ballots in addition to donations to run elections from exterior teams are advancing within the Pennsylvania Legislature.
The state Senate voted Wednesday to ship each proposals to the Home of Representatives.
Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf is against each measures. Republican opponents of drop packing containers stated they weren’t expressly licensed beneath the 2019 regulation that expanded mail-in voting to be used by anybody.
The opposite invoice would make it a felony to pay election prices exterior federal, state and native revenues from public cash, and even to hunt such grants or donations from exterior teams.
