Plans set for Pa. Latino Conference in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown is gearing up for a serious occasion celebrating Latino tradition and excellence.

A information convention was held Thursday afternoon at metropolis corridor to advertise the Pennsylvania Latino Conference. It will likely be held from September 28 to October 1 on the Renaissance Lodge in downtown Allentown.

Officers are calling it probably the most complete occasion masking all elements of Latino life in Pennsylvania.

Allentown’s mayor says the town is a logical option to host the conference.

“54 p.c of Allentown’s inhabitants is Hispanic, and right here in Lehigh County, we’ve the biggest share of Latinos in any county within the state. It is just below 30 p.c,” stated Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk.

The conference is being held in collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley.
