On this second episode, the Lee Climate crew — Matt Holiner of Lee Enterprises’ Midwest group in Chicago, Kirsten Lang of the Tulsa World in Oklahoma, Joe Martucci of the Press of Atlantic Metropolis, N.J., and Sean Sublette of the Richmond Occasions-Dispatch in Virginia — is joined by Dr. Theresa Crimmins to debate the science behind spring blooms and allergens.

Crimmins, Director for the USA Nationwide Phenology Community, has been with the group since 2007. She acquired a B.S. and M.A at Western Michigan College and a Ph.D. from the College of Arizona. In her present position, she works to assist the expansion and use of phenology knowledge and sources curated by the group.
