READING, Pa. – An Undertake-a-Freeway cleanup honored the legacy of a former Studying Excessive College pupil.
Members of the Jorge Luis Acevedo Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund gathered close to the previous Queen Metropolis Diner in Studying for the cleanup on Sunday.
Acevedo, also called JR, was killed by a drunk driver in 2003. He was 17.
This was the nineteenth 12 months the cleanup occasion was held in JR’s honor.
His household says they hope others take his story critically.
