Youth baseball opening ceremonies honor father, sons killed in Christmas Day fireplace

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. – Opening ceremonies for the beginning of a brand new youth baseball season in Higher Bucks County remembers a father and two of his sons who died in a Christmas Day fireplace.

The Quakertown Youth Baseball Affiliation honored the King household Saturday morning. The daddy, Eric, and sons Liam and Patrick had been killed.

Eric was a longtime coach within the league, the place each Liam and Patrick performed.

Eric’s spouse Kristen and their oldest son Brady survived. The 2 of them attended the ceremony, standing subsequent to a banner with the phrases “Endlessly in Our Hearts.”
